"BLACK AMERICAN PSYCHO" is a reimagined version of Kanye West's polarizing 2013 album, "Yeezus," released in December 2020. Inspired by the concept that "Yeezus" was once a three-hour long project before Rick Rubin helped cut it down to its now 40-minute runtime, and was at one point titled "Black American Psycho," this album reimagines and extends the original release to nearly 2 hours and 20 minutes.

I held full creative direction over this project, crafting a loose narrative in which Kanye embodies an American Psycho-esque character, with carefully placed audio clips from the 2000 horror film woven throughout the tracks. To expand upon the original album's framework, I added new tracks and guest features, heavily edited existing songs, and created a more cohesive and dynamic overarching theme. The result is one of my most popular and successful reimagined albums, offering listeners a fresh, conceptual take on Kanye West's "Yeezus" that garnered significant attention and praise from fans online.
